Alfried Gotze

Alfried Götze (born February 29, 1904 in Berlin ; † May 11, 1985 there ) was a German politician ( SPD ).

Alfried Götze attended an elementary school and then a preparatory institute . In 1922 he joined the SPD. He did a commercial apprenticeship, attended courses at the adult education center and finally studied at the University Institute for Economics in Berlin. Götze worked as a business clerk and later became managing director, operations manager and publishing manager. In 1952 he was laid off in a large East Berlin company, later he worked as an employee.

In February 1959, Götze moved up to the Berlin House of Representatives after Erich Lück had died. Until 1967 he was a member of parliament.
