Algea
The Algea ( ancient Greek Ἄλγεα , singular Algos Ἄλγος pain ) are personifications of pain in Greek mythology .
In Hesiod's theogony , the Algea are daughters of the goddess of discord Eris , their siblings are also personifications of terms that are negatively charged for humans. In Roman mythology , they correspond to the personification of pain, Dolor .
