Lauri "Lassi" Rikhard Parkkinen (born May 8, 1917 in Varkaus , † October 3, 1994 in Espoo ) was a Finnish speed skater .
Parkkinen was all-around world champion in Oslo in 1947 . Five years later he won the silver medal in Hamar .
At the Olympic Games in St. Moritz in 1948 Parkkinen won silver over 10,000 meters behind the Swede Åke Seyffarth .
