Peder Østlund ( May 7, 1872 - January 22, 1939 ) was a Norwegian speed skater .

He became world champion in the all-around competition in Davos in 1898 and in Berlin in 1899 . In 1899 and 1900 he also won the European Championships .

Østlund set ten world records in his career and led the nobility calendar for 3,299 days.
