Leendert "Leo" Visser (born January 13, 1966 in Haastrecht ) is a former Dutch speed skater .

Visser was founded in 1989 in Oslo -around world champion and Gothenburg all-around European champion . Because of this success he was awarded the Oscar Mathisen Memorial Trophy .

At the 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary , Visser won the silver medal over 5000 meters and the bronze medal over 10,000 meters. Four years later in Albertville , he won bronze over 1500 meters and 5000 meters.

In 1987 Visser set a world record over 3000 meters (3: 59.27 min) and over 5000 meters (6: 47.01 min).
