Falko Zandstra (born December 27, 1971 in Heerenveen ) is a former Dutch speed skater .

Zandstra won the all- around world champion in Hamar in 1993 . The year before, he had already won the silver medal at the World Championships . In 1992 and 1993 the Dutchman won the European all- around championships .

At the Olympic Games in 1992 Zandstra won silver over 5000 meters in Albertville and in 1994 in Lillehammer bronze over 1500 meters.

Zandstra led the nobility calendar for 49 days in 1993.

For his outstanding achievements in 1993, Zandstra received the Oscar Mathisen Memorial Trophy and was also voted Sportsman of the Year for the Netherlands .
