Ivan Alexandrowitsch Skobrew ( Russian Иван Александрович Скобрев ; born February 8, 1983 in Khabarovsk ) is a Russian speed skating all-rounder who specializes in medium and long distance .

Iwan Skobrew made his debut in March 2002 at the World Cup finals in Inzell . He reached several podium places in the B group of the World Cup and also ran several times in the top 10 in the A group. At the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin , he competed in four races and came up with one surprise over the 1000 and 1500 meters good sixth rank. He also achieved fifth place with Russia in the team competition. At the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver , he won the bronze medal over 5000 m and the silver medal over 10000 m.

At the all-around world championship 2011 in Calgary he won the title before Håvard Bøkko .

The runner-up European champion in the all-around event in 2002 behind Beorn Nijenhuis was three times Russian champion, five times runner-up and twice third.

In December 2017, Skobrew was banned from the Olympic Games for life along with ten other Russian athletes after doping reports.
