European speed skating all-around championship
The list of European speed skating all-around championships lists all winners as well as the second and third placed at the European all-around championships. Since 1891, European speed skating championships have been organized for men (from 1970 for women) by the International Ice Skating Union (ISU). The championship will be held together at the same place for women and men from 1990 onwards. The German Gunda Niemann with eight gold medals, the most successful woman and the Dutchman Sven Kramer with ten gold medals the most successful man in the European Championships. With 48 gold, 46 silver and 45 bronze medals, the Netherlands is the most successful nation at the European Championships.

In the years 1915 to 1921 (including World War I) and 1940 to 1945 (World War II) no European championships took place. There was no European speed skating championship for women between 1975 and 1980.
