Marrit Leenstra (born May 10, 1989 ) is a Dutch speed skater .

Marrit Leenstra has been participating in international competitions since November 2006 and made her debut in Moscow . A year later she was able to reach the top ten positions for the first time as eighth over 1500 meters in Kolomna . In October 2007 she also won the bronze medal at the Dutch championships on the 1,500 meter course.

At the 2011 Individual Distance World Championships in Inzell she won the silver medal in the team pursuit together with Ireen Wüst and Diane Valkenburg .

In 2013 Leenstra became world champion in team pursuit at the World Championships in Sochi, together with Ireen Wüst and Diane Valkenburg . At the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang , she won the bronze medal over 1500 m.

Leenstra has won five titles at the Dutch championships so far. Among them is the victory over 1000 meters and in the sprint four-way fight in 2013.
