Geir Karlstad
Geir Karlstad (born July 7, 1963 in Lørenskog ) is a former Norwegian speed skater .
The 1982 junior world champion won the 5,000 m at the 1992 Winter Olympics in Albertville and won bronze over the 10,000 m distance. In 1989, Karlstad finished third in the all-around at the World and European Championships. Karlstad set eight world records, including three in the junior area. A serious back injury forced him to retire immediately before the 1994 Olympics in his home country.
