Hilbert van der Duim (born August 4, 1957 in Beetsterzwaag ) is a former Dutch speed skater .

Van der Duim was world champion in all-around competitions in Heerenveen in 1980 and Assen in 1982 . In 1984 and 1985 he won the bronze medal at the world championships .

In 1983 and 1984 van der Duim also became European all- around champion .

His best finish at the Olympic Games was fourth place in Lake Placid in 1980 over 5000 meters.

Van der Duim set an hour record in 1986. In 1987 he had to end his career due to a car accident.
