Algershofen is a district of Munderkingen in the Alb-Donau district in Baden-Württemberg . The hamlet is located about one kilometer southwest of Munderkingen.

history

Algershofen was first mentioned in 1278 as "Algershoven". The place has always been associated with Munderkingen.

After 1805 the place was a condominium with Thurn and Taxis because of an earlier part of the Obermarchtal monastery . Algershofen belonged to the Untermarchtal municipality from 1813 to 1933 .
