Alherd Bacharewitsch (Alhierd Bacharevič) (* 1975 in Minsk , Belarus ) is a Belarusian writer and translator of German literature ( Hans Magnus Enzensberger , Jan Wagner , Wilhelm Hauff , Hanns Heinz Ewers and others). He writes exclusively in Belarusian ( Tarashkewitsa ) and publishes his texts in the country's most important literary magazines . His books appear in the independent Minsk Lohwinau Verlag , Goliafy and Radio Svaboda. The author's texts have been translated into German, Czech, Ukrainian, Polish, Bulgarian, Slovenian and Russian. In 2008, the series Biblioteka Białoruska by the Polish publisher Kolegium Europy Wschodniej ( Wrocław ) published a Polish-Belarusian volume with selected stories under the title Talent do jąkania się , in 2010 the novel Die Elster auf dem Galgen in German by Leipziger Literaturverlag , 2017 Bacharevičs kleine medical encyclopedia in Lublin published by Warsztaty Kultury in Polish translation.
