Alidaxo is a German hip-hop act from the Ruhr area .
Band history
Started as a classic hip-hop act, Mischa, Erdi and Seppo from Bochum and Herne have been repositioning themselves under the direction of producer and multi-instrumentalist Dennis Brzoska (Susanne Blech, Urbanatix) since the beginning of 2015: The ten songs on “Retro war yesterday ”(released on the Herner label Z-Muzic / Sebastian Maier) are consistently with spoken vocals , but they don't care much about the codes of the genre and enter into a liaison with pop , indie rock and electro sounds . They pay a lot of attention to the choruses . The trio mixes everyday observations and youthful optimism with ironic social criticism or even an unbroken praise of superficiality with a lot of puns. Alidaxo create a connection between spoken song, pop, indie rock and electronic sounds and leave behind songs such as “Survival Land”, “World Tour”, “Light Baby” or “Plastic”. The Herner hip-hop trio Alidaxo describes their music as self-deprecating and socially critical. Nathalie Lucia Hahnen and Jan-David Bürger participated in the video for the single Marta (2017) .
Appearances
There were many appointments in 2017, including Bochum Total 2017 on the 1-Live stage at the country's largest "Free and outdoors" festival.
They were also on their “Retro was yesterday” tour across Germany in 2017, playing at the summer festival of the University of Bochum, the Sun Sucks Brain Out Festival, the campus festival of the University of Duisburg and at the KAZ Open Air. In Herne.
