Alina Oleksandriwna Zwilij ( Ukrainian Аліна Олександрівна Цвілій , née Haltschenko [ Гальченко ], internationally based on English transcription Alina Tsviliy or Halchenko ; born  September 18, 1994 ) is a Ukrainian walker .

Athletic career

Alina Zwilij gained her first international experience at the 2010 Youth Olympic Games in Singapore , where she finished sixth over 5000 meters in 22: 47.89 minutes. A year later she was fourth at the Youth World Championships near Lille in 22: 12.47 min. In 2012, he came eleventh in the 10,000-meter walk at the Junior World Championships in Barcelona . In 2017 the student from HS Skoworoda Charkiw National Pedagogical University took seventh place over 20 km at the Summer Universiade in Taipei . With a finish time of 4: 12.44 hours, Zwilij won the silver medal in the 50 km walk at the 2018 European Championships in Berlin, behind the Portuguese Inês Henriques and ahead of the Spanish Júlia Takács .
