Alyaksandr Sjarhejewitsch Baraukou ( Belarusian Аляксандр Сяргеевіч Бараўкоў , Russian Александр Сергеевич Боровков / Alexander Sergeyevich Borowkow * 28. January 1982 in Moscow , Russian SFSR ) is a Russian - Belarusian ice hockey player who since August 2012 when Yunost Minsk in the Supreme Hockey League is under contract.
Career
Aljaksandr Baraukou began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the youth department of the HK CSKA Moscow , for whose professional team he was active from 2000 to 2002 in the Vysschaya League , the second Russian division. After promotion to the Superliga in the 2001/02 season , he left the club and stayed with the Wysschaja Liga participant HK Lipetsk , but left this again in the middle of the 2002/03 season to work for HK Chimwolokno Mahiljou in the following five and a half years Belarusian extra league to play. In his first two seasons with the Belarusians, he ran for them in parallel in the East European Hockey League . He finished the 2007/08 season at its Extraliga rivals HK Junost Minsk .
For the 2008/09 season Baraukou signed a contract with HK Sibir Novosibirsk from the newly founded Continental Hockey League . In the KHL premier season he scored 17 scorer points in 56 games, seven of which were goals, for his team. The following season , the left shooter began again at HK Junost Minsk in the Belarusian extra league and ended it with its city neighbor HK Dinamo Minsk , for which he came to four missions in the KHL by the end of the season. He then returned to HK Junost Minsk, with whom he won the IIHF Continental Cup at European level in 2011 . He was also successful at national level with Junost and won the Belarusian championship title with the team .
For the 2011/12 season Baraukou moved to HK Donbass Donetsk from the new second Russian division, the Wysschaja Hockey League .
International
For Belarus Baraukou took part in the 2007 World Cup, where he finished eleventh with his team. In the course of the tournament he remained pointless in six games and received two penalty minutes.
