Aljaksandra "Sascha" Tarassawa ( Belarusian Аляксандра Тарасава * 23 June 1988 in Grodno , Byelorussian SSR , Soviet Union ) is a Belarusian basketball national player . The 1.70 m tall athlete plays in the position of point guard .

Career

She has already been under contract in five European leagues: in Turkey with Ceyhan Belediyespor , in Slovakia with MBK Ruzomberok , in the Czech Republic with VS Prague , in Belarus with BC Harysont Minsk and in Germany with BG Donau-Ries in Nördlingen.

In early 2014 she moved from the Belarusian club BC Harysont Minsk, with whom she won the Cup, to the German first division club Nördlingen. For the 2014/15 season she was signed by the German series champion TSV Wasserburg, but could not play a game for Wasserburg due to a cruciate ligament tear suffered during the World Cup against Korea. Under the new coach René Spandauw, the hall Lions signed Aljaksandra Tarassawa for the 2015/2016 season.
