All I Have to Do Is Dream is a pop song written by Boudleaux Bryant and released by the Everly Brothers on March 6, 1958 .
The piece became one of the duo's most successful titles and hit the charts around the world in the late 1950s. A total of 1.5 million records were sold and the song ranks 141st in Rolling Stone magazine's 500 best songs of all time .
The musical design of the song is based on the 32-bar AABA form, whereby the frequent repetition of the word "Dream" serves as a structural characteristic.
