Alla Gaevna Jalilova
Alla Dschalilowa , Russian Алла Гаевна Джалилова (born November 8 . Jul / 21st November 1908 greg. In Tbilisi ; † 12. April 1992 ) was a Russian dancer (ballerina) and soloist of the Bolshoi Theater .
Life
Alla Jalilova was born in Tbilisi in 1908, where her father, a lawyer, had been transferred. The father's family came from the süddagestanischen lesgischen village Akhty ; her mother was a dentist.
Since 1927 she was in the ballet company of the Bolshoi Theater. Her star roles were Mercedes in Don Quixote , Aja in La Bayadère , Tsaga in Prince Igor and others.
From 1951 to 1974 she taught at the Moscow Choreographic Institute and the Shchukin Theater Institute.
Alla Jalilova is buried in the Muslim cemetery in Domodedovo .
