Allenberg is a village in eastern Swabia . It is a part of the community of Schiltberg in the district of Aichach-Friedberg .

The place is roughly in the middle between Aichach and Schiltberg. The district road AIC 2 leads north past the place. In the center of the village (Freisinger Straße 2, corner of Flurstraße) is the Catholic Mother of God Chapel, a simple rectangular building with a roof turret, which was built from 1851. It is the only monument in Allenberg . The Höfarter Bach flows through Allenberg from west to east, which flows into the Weilach in Höfarten as a left tributary .

In 1888 the Allenberg volunteer fire brigade was founded.

Allenberg was an independent municipality in the Upper Bavarian district of Aichach until January 1, 1971 and then became part of Schiltberg as part of the regional reform in Bavaria .
