General rescue association

The General Rescue Association (ARV) is an aid organization founded on January 20, 1973 in Unterhaching in the field of emergency aid and also active as an organization for independent welfare and a member of the German Paritätischer Wohlfahrtsverband in the field of social services. The regional focal points of the activities of the ARV are the federal states of Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg ; there are also association structures in Hesse , Lower Saxony and Schleswig-Holstein .

The ARV is active in different areas of activity in different regions. These include, among other things, broad training in first aid , the implementation of medical security services and route security at events, as well as participation in civil protection and disaster control . In the social area, the ARV performs tasks in outpatient care , social and care advice, legal care and child and youth work. In addition, the individual associations on site offer, for example, a medication delivery service, a meal service , accident follow-up service and a home emergency call service as further services.
