Alloclita recisella is a butterfly ( moth ) from the family of cosmopterigidae (Cosmopterigidae).

features

The moths reach a wingspan of 9 to 15 millimeters. The head shimmers white ocher. The antennae are ringed dark brown and gray-white. The thorax is ocher-white and heavily speckled with gray. The tegulae are ocher white, the rear part is not speckled. The front wings are ocher white with a gray-brown mixture. The first sixth is gray-brown and has an inwardly sloping dark gray outer edge. In the middle of the Costa loader there is a wide gray-brown band, which becomes narrower towards the inner edge of the wing and can be interrupted. Inside it is bounded by a more or less distinct dark gray band that bends towards the apex in the middle of the wing . The apical area is gray-brown and separated from the central band by a narrow yellowish white band. The fringed scales are ocher gray. The hind wings shine gray and are roughly scaled. The abdomen is dark brown, the segments are banded gray-brown behind. The anal tuft is gray-brown. The drawing on the forewings is very variable. The spectrum ranges from a very light basic color with clear bands to almost completely gray-brown wings with bands only indicated by a dark brown border.

In the males, the left brachium is slightly longer than the tegumen , dilated and curved at the tip. The right brachium has a bulge dorsally in front of the middle, the apex is flattened. The tegumen is square, the blades are spatulate. The valvellae are slender and curved.

In females, the apophyses are about the same length. The sterigma is only slightly sclerotized and has the shape of an oval plate. The ostium has a semicircular band and is heavily sclerotized laterally . The ductus bursae is only half as long as the corpus bursae . The corpus bursae has two sickle-shaped and thorny signs.
