Alma Kriesche

Alma Kriesche , b. Lorentz (born March 27, 1844 in Greifswald ; † May 16, 1923 in Frankfurt am Main ) was a German writer and suffragette .

Alma Lorentz was the daughter of a Greifswald merchant. From 1863 to 1865 she lived in Constantinople as an educator. In 1869 she married the government architect Gustav Kriesche († 1880). Alma Kriesche lived in Ober- Loschwitz near Dresden around 1900 and was involved in the women's movement. She became the head of the legal department there. In May 1908 she became the office manager of the women's association in Frankfurt am Main.
