Alma Würth
Alma Würth , née Schott, widowed Kindermann, (* May 8, 1913 in Moorrege ; † May 4, 2006 in Künzelsau ) was a German entrepreneur. She was the wife of the company founder Adolf Würth and the mother of the current company owner Reinhold Würth .
biography
Alma Würth was the daughter of a gardener from the Hamburg area . On August 6, 1932, she married Adolf Würth in Öhringen , with whom she had two sons, Reinhold (* April 20, 1935) and Klaus-Frieder (* April 11, 1944). Immediately after the end of the war, they founded a wholesaler for nuts and bolts in an outbuilding of the Schlossmühle in the Hofratsmühle district of Künzelsau . "After the end of the Second World War, my mother was the driving force behind pushing my father to become self-employed" ( Reinhold Würth ).
After her husband died suddenly from a heart attack on December 14, 1954, Alma Würth and her son Reinhold, who was still underage at the age of 19, continued to run the company from which the Würth Group developed and is now the international market leader in fastening and assembly technology is. Until 1993 she was a member of the advisory board of the company, which in 2006 had around 350 companies in 81 countries.
