Alois Haider

Alois Haider (born May 3, 1948 in Amstetten / Lower Austria ) is an Austrian writer .

Life

Alois Haider studied theater studies and art history at the University of Vienna . He completed this study in 1978 with the promotion of Doctor of Philosophy from. After completing practical training as a theater director, he worked as an author on the texts for the Viennese cabaret “ Simpl ”. In 1988 he took part in the Ingeborg Bachmann Competition in Klagenfurt .

Alois Haider is a writer of narrative works , poetry and plays .

In 1986 Alois Haider was awarded the Lower Austria Prize for Cabaret .
