Aloisia Fischer

Aloisia Fischer (born January 23, 1954 in Taxenbach ) is a former Austrian politician ( ÖVP ) and farmer. She was a member of the Austrian Federal Council from 1996 to 1999 and a federal farmer from 1991 to 2007.

education and profession

Aloisia Fischer attended elementary school in Piesendorf from 1960 to 1964 before completing secondary school in Zell am See between 1964 and 1968 . From 1968 to 1969 she continued her education at the home economics school in St. Johann im Pongau and graduated from the commercial vocational school in Zell am See between 1969 and 1972, where she learned the trade of saleswoman and between 1969 and 1975 she worked as a saleswoman in the general store. Furthermore, she attended various advanced training courses at the Rural Training Institute (LFI). Fischer has been a farmer at the Mooslehengut in Piesendorf since 1973, and has been a full-time farmer since 1975. On August 2, 2007, a major fire destroyed parts of the plant, the farm building was completely destroyed and the residential building was saved.

Politics and functions

Aloisia Fischer was founded in 1985 as a Chamber Councilor politically active of the Chamber of Agriculture and Forestry in Salzburg for the first time. In 1986 she took over the role of country farmer in Salzburg and in 1989 she took over the role of vice-president of the Chamber of Agriculture and Forestry in Salzburg. In 1991 she rose to chair the working group of women farmers in the Austrian Chamber of Agriculture , d. H. to the federal farmer. Between 1987 and 1998 she was also a member of the regional office committee and from 1994 to 1996 chairwoman of the social insurance institute for farmers of the regional office in Salzburg. In 1996 she became deputy chairwoman of the social insurance institution for farmers in the Salzburg regional office. In 2000, she also took over the role of chairman of the board of control (control assembly) of the social insurance institution for farmers. Fischer represented the Salzburg People's Party from April 24, 1996 to April 26, 1999 in the Austrian Federal Council .

In October 2004 Aloisia Fischer resigned from her position as country farmer, and in 2007 she also resigned from the office of federal farmer. In 2008 she replaced Elisabeth Hölzl as Vice President of the Chamber of Agriculture.
