Aloysius Joannes Nep. Ferdinandus Mießl Edler von Zeileisen (* 1759 in Jachymov ; † 12. October 1815 ), was a Czech mineralogist , kk Berggeschworner in Lead City , Obernberg managers and Bergrichter in Pribram .

Life

Aloys Mießl was born in St. Joachimsthal in the Ore Mountains . He was the eldest son of the mountain judge and chief administrator Johann Nepomuk Mießl (1733–1802) and his wife Maria Barbara geb. Macasius (1732–1801) born. In 1786 the family was raised to hereditary nobility. Mießl began his career as an actuary in Pribram. In 1790 he became a mountain jury in Pencil Town and in 1797 senior mountain administrator adjunct in Pribram. In 1799 he was appointed mountain ridge and head of the mining authority. In 1812 he received the title of kk gubernialrat. His work "Description of the Mountains and Mining near Przibram in Bohemia", published in 1796, is important.

Aloys Mießl vonzeileisen was married to Antonia Peithner Edle von Lichtenfels (* 1776, † July 11, 1848 in Prague ), daughter of Joseph Wenzel Peithner Edler von Lichtenfels Gubernialrat in Prague.
