Aloysius Sudarso
Aloysius Sudarso SCI (born December 12, 1945 in Yogyakarta ) is Archbishop of Palembang .
Life
Aloysius Sudarso joined the Congregation of Dehonians at and received on 14 December 1972, the priestly ordination .
Pope John Paul II appointed him auxiliary bishop in Palembang and titular bishop of Bavagaliana on November 17, 1993 . The Bishop of Palembang, Joseph Hubertus Soudant SCI, donated him episcopal ordination on March 25 of the next year ; Co- consecrators were Alfred Gonti Pius Datubara OFMCap , Archbishop of Medan , and Andreas Henrisusanta SCI, Bishop of Tanjungkarang .
On May 20, 1997, he was appointed Bishop of Palembang. With the elevation to the archbishopric on July 1, 2003 he was appointed Archbishop of Palembang.
