The Alpenperle is a day trip boat on the Weißensee in Carinthia . It is used in scheduled services and for charter trips. The ship is operated by the "Schifffahrt Familie Müller". It is approved for 250 passengers.

technology

The machine is driven by a six cylinder - diesel engine with 6.8 liter displacement and 182 kilowatts to the manufacturer John Deere to a Z-Drive at the rear. In addition, an electric motor with 15 kilowatts is available for the drive , which can be operated by a battery set of 3,500 Ah . The batteries are charged with regenerative electricity at night at the berth .

history

The ship was commissioned by the "Weißensee Schifffahrt Familie Müller" for around 1.4 million euros and was completed in 2014 under construction number 205 at the Lux shipyard in Niederkassel - Mondorf am Rhein. It was transferred to its operational area in autumn 2014. It was transported to Passau by water and then as a special transport by road. In October 2014, the first test drives were carried out in the operational area. The christening and maiden voyage took place on May 2, 2015.
