Altenkünsberg is a district of Creußen in the Upper Franconian district of Bayreuth .
The place Altenkünsberg lies northeast of Creußen and borders directly on the district Tiefenthal . The Burgstall Altenkünsberg , ancestral seat of the von Künsberg family , is located at the highest point in the village and is circled by the access road from Tiefenthal. Another monument is a war memorial for the First World War. The Altenkünsberger Bach is part of the Roter Main river system .
