The old town hall in Cadolzburg , a market town in the Middle Franconian district of Fürth , was built from 1670 to 1674 with renovations from 1893. At the beginning of the 19th century, two school halls were added and teachers' apartments were set up. The building at Pisendelplatz 1 served as the town hall until 1988 . It is a protected architectural monument .

The three-storey saddle roof building on the steep slope to the moat has a west gable with a half-hip . The base and ground floor as well as the west gable are made of sandstone ashlar masonry , the upper storey and the east gable consist of exposed half-timbering .

In the former town hall, the Heimatverein set up the Rangau Heimathaus, which opened in 2017. In twelve rooms there is an overview of the history of Cadolzburg and the geology of the region.
