Altlommatzsch is a district of the small town of Lommatzsch in the district of Meißen in Saxony.

The square-like, extended Zeilendorf with a striped corridor similar to a win is located northeast of Lommatzsch in the hilly landscape of Lommatzscher Pflege .

history

The place was first mentioned in 1268 as Aldenlomazh and was the seat of a supan , a priest, judge and war leader who ruled over a supani (Slavic administrative area). In 1403 the Supanie Altlommatzsch is mentioned. The Saupengut , the town's largest estate, later became a land judge's estate, which is mentioned several times in the 16th century. In 1798 there was a hereditary judge estate. In 1960 Altlommatzsch farmers founded the LPG Type III Rudolf Diesel with 248 hectares of land. In 1970 this joined the LPG Type III Jessen .

Altlommatzsch belonged in a manorial way from 1551 to at least 1764 to the Meissen Education Authority, which was established when the Princely School Meissen was founded in 1543.

The place in church belonged from 1539 to Lommatzsch and is now part of the parish Lommatzsch-Neckanitz.

In 1935 Scheerau was incorporated into Altlommatzsch. Altlommatzsch has been a district of Lommatzsch since January 1, 1973 .
