Alto do Pina was a municipality ( freguesia ) in the Portuguese capital, Lisbon . 10,337 inhabitants lived in it on an area of 0.83 km² (as of June 30, 2011).
history
The municipality was created on February 7, 1959 as part of an administrative reorganization of the urban area of Lisbon by separating areas of the municipalities of Arroios , Penha de França and Beato .
In autumn 2013, the community was merged with the neighboring community of São João de Deus to the west to form the new community of Areeiro .
