Penha de França is a Portuguese community ( freguesia ) in the 4th Bairro of the capital Lisbon .
It was built on April 13, 1918. In 1959, the municipality ceded parts of its territory for the establishment of the municipalities of São João and Alto do Pina . The patron saint of the freguesia is the Nossa Senhora da Penha de França .
