Alvin Muoth
Alvin Muoth (born December 25, 1965 in Chur ) is a Swiss musician , composer , conductor and singer .
Life
Alvin Muoth comes from a musical family from Rhäzüns .
After high school and teacher training in Chur, he studied solo singing, choral conducting, orchestral direction and composition at the Mozarteum in Salzburg under well-known names such as Rudolf Knoll , Nikolaus Harnoncourt and also as a private student with Herbert von Karajan .
As the founder of the Graubünden Concert Choir, he was its conductor for 15 years. In addition to conducting various symphony and wind orchestras, he also worked as a captain and music instructor in the military music of the Swiss Army .
