Alvydas Baležentis
Alvydas Baležentis (born January 10, 1949 in Straigiai , Rajongemeinde Lazdijai ) is a Lithuanian politician.
Life
In 1967 Baležentis graduated from the Smalininkai Agricultural Mechanization Technical Center and in 1973 graduated from the Kauno politechnikos institutas . From 1973 to 1976 he studied in the aspirantur in Odessa . From 1967 to 1970 he worked in the technical vocational school in Balbieriškis (now the department of the Alytus vocational training center ). In 1979 he received his doctorate in economics from Lomonosov University in Moscow . From 1977 to 1992 he taught at the Lietuvos žemės ūkio akademija and was Vice-Rector. From 1992 to 1996 he was a member of the Seimas . From 2002 he taught at the Military Academy of Lithuania and at the Mykolo Romerio universitetas , from 2009 as a professor .
He is a member of Lietuvių tautininkų sąjunga .
