Alyson Noël (born December 3, 1967 in Laguna Beach ) is an American writer who lives and works in California .

Alyson Noël grew up in Orange County and attended Richard Nixon Elementary School for two years . She lived in Mykonos after leaving high school . She then moved to Manhattan , where she worked as a stewardess for a major airline . Today she lives in Laguna Beach . She has had a variety of jobs, including babysitting , department store clerk, administrative assistant, office manager, jeweler , t-shirt printer, receptionist in a hotel; today she is an author . She spent most of her free time traveling and breaking free from the suburban lifestyle. She was inspired to become a writer while she was still in school, after all, Are you there, God? It's Me , Margaret ( Are You There God? It's Me, Margaret ) by Judy Blume in sixth grade. Her first work was the youth book Faking 19 , which examines the lifestyles of today's teenagers .

Career

Noël wrote the novels Saving Zoë , Kiss & Blog , Art Geeks and Prom Queens , Cruel Summer , Laguna Cove and Fly Me to the Moon (German: The next one, please!).

She is the author of a series of novels known as The Evermore Series . Her first book, Evermore , which the New York Times - bestselling was, was published in February of 2009. The German translation Evermore - Die Immsterblichen was published on February 3, 2009. The next book in the series Blue Moon was published on July 7, 2009. Like its predecessor, it is a New York Times bestseller. The German translation Evermore - The Blue Moon was published on March 8, 2010. The third book in the Shadowland series was published on November 17, 2009. The German translation Evermore - Das Schattenland was published on August 16, 2010. The fourth book in the Dark Flame series was published on June 22, 2010 and was published in German in November 2010 under the title Evermore - Das dunkle Feuer , the fifth book Night Star was published on November 16, 2010 and was published on April 25, 2011 published in German under the title Evermore - Der Stern der Nacht . The sixth and final book Everlasting was published in English on June 7, 2011, in German it is entitled Evermore - Forever and Eternal and was published on August 15, 2011.

Noël also wrote an Immortal spin-off series called The Riley Bloom Series , with Riley (Evers dead sister) as the protagonist. The first book Radiance was published on August 31, 2010 in English. The German translation, Riley - Das Mädchen im Licht , was published on February 8, 2011. The sequel Shimmer was published on March 4, 2011. The German translation Riley - Im Schein der Finsternis followed on July 11, 2011. The third volume of the Dreamland series was published on September 13, 2011, while the German translation Riley - Die Geisterjägerin on 23 January 2012. The fourth and final volume Whisper was published on April 24, 2012 and in the German edition Riley - The First Kiss on May 21, 2012.

Noël's latest book series for young people is called The Soul Seekers . The series is to include four books; Fated , Echo , Mystic and Horizon . The books are to be published in English every six months. The first book Fated was published on May 22, 2012 (German: Soul Seeker - From the destiny , September 10, 2012). The second volume Echo was published in 2012.
