Amédée Fournier (born February 3, 1912 in Armentières , † March 30, 1992 in Lecci ) was a French cyclist .

Amédée Fournier competed in the 1932 Olympic Games in Los Angeles . In the team pursuit on the track , he won the silver medal together with Paul Chocque , Henri Mouillefarine and René Le Grevès . In the road race , he finished 13th in the individual standings and fifth in the team standings.

In 1934 Fournier went over to the professionals and remained active as such until 1950. In 1934 he won the Circuit de l'Indre . He competed in the Tour de France twice - in 1936 and 1939 . While he gave up on his first start after the seventh stage, he won two stages in his second participation, wore the yellow jersey for one day and finished 47th in the overall standings. At the Grand Prix des Nations he finished second in 1934 and third in 1938. During the Second World War Fournier also competed in several six-day races . In 1950 he was third in the French championship in standing races .
