Amanda Randolph Hearst (born January 5, 1984 ) is an American executive , heiress of Hearst Corporation and model . She is the contributing editor of Marie Claire , also part of Hearst Corporation. She founded the animal welfare organization Friends of Finn for abuse in dog breeding programs. She was co-chair of the conservation organization Riverkeeper's .

Private life

As the child of Anne Hearst , she is the niece of Patty Hearst and great-granddaughter of the publisher William Randolph Hearst . She is the stepdaughter of writer Jay McInerney and the cousin of Lydia Hearst-Shaw .

Hearst attended Chapin School in New York City and then Choate Rosemary Hall boarding school . After a year at Boston College , she moved to London and started modeling there. At the Fordham University she graduated in 2008 with a Bachelor in Art History .

Model career

As a former IMG model, Hearst is on the front page and a. by editions of Town & Country , International Harper's Bazaar , Cosmopolitan and Vanity Fair .
