Amatignak Island is a small island in the Delarof Islands , a group of islands in the west of the Andreanof Islands , which are in the southwest of the Aleutian Islands . The island is almost ten kilometers long and 515 meters high and is the southernmost of the Aleutians. The closest neighboring island, Ulak Island, is just 6.4 km to the east.
The other neighboring island, Semisopochnoi , is 80 km to the west.
