Skagul Island is an uninhabited island of the Delarof Islands , a group of islands in the west of the Andreanof Islands , which are in the southwest of the Aleutian Islands . The approximately 3 km and 12 m high island was first recorded in the nautical charts by Friedrich Benjamin von Lütke in 1836 .
