Amaya Valdemoro

Amaya Valdemoro Madariaga (born August 18, 1976 in Alcobendas ) is a former Spanish basketball player .

The 1.82 m tall Valdemoro made her debut in the first Spanish division at the age of 16 and played her first game in the North American WNBA for the Houston Comets in 1998 . She had only short periods of play there, but the team was also champion in the three seasons in which she was active in the WNBA.

At the 2007 European Championships in Italy she was voted Most Valuable Player . With the final victory and the first title success at the EM 2013 , like her national team colleague Elisa Aguilar of the same age, she announced her departure from the "Selección".

She is size 45.
