Amber Pacific is a pop-punk band from Seattle , Washington , USA, founded in 2002 . Under the name Follow Through, they initially performed for fun in their hometown. They participated in the Warped Tour in 2004, 2005, 2006, and 2007 .
On October 16, 2006, they began recording their third studio album, which was released in May 2007 and is called "Truth in Sincerity" . The album's first released single is "Fall Back into My Life" and appears in the soundtrack to the film TMNT (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles). On February 26, 2008, lead singer Matt Young decided to leave the band. Jesse Cottam, who was already known from a Canadian casting show, was brought into the band for him. For financial reasons, however, he was kicked out of the band in February 2011. Will Nutter, guitarist of the band, then asked former singer Matt Young to reconsider his decision, after which he returned to the band. In the fall of 2011, Amber Pacific announced that the band's longtime friend, Jeremy Gibbons, would replace Greg Strong as bassist. Gibbons had previously worked as a singer and bassist together with Amber Pacific drummer Dango in the band DDP-Project.
