Ambros Trento

Ambros Trient (born January 31, 1827 in Nuremberg , † February 28, 1900 probably in Munich ) was a German civil engineer and general director of the royal Bavarian transport authorities .

Life

From December 1851 to April 1852 Trient was a technical assistant to the Würzburg section at the Royal Bavarian Transport Authority. He then worked - still as a technical assistant - at the Royal Railway Construction Commission in Munich. On July 1, 1857, he was promoted to engineer assistant in Würzburg as a previous engineering intern.

With effect from January 1, 1861, he was promoted to department engineer on December 30, 1860 as a previous department assistant at the "Oberpost- und Bahnamt von Unterfranken und Aschaffenburg " in Würzburg and on November 1, 1864 to operations engineer at the Oberpost- und Bahnamt Würzburg - but as a section engineer based in Schweinfurt .

In 1869 he was transferred to the construction department of the general management in Munich "in the same service capacity" . In this professional phase he was member No. 239 of the Bavarian Architects and Engineers Association in 1870 . From February 1872 to May 1875 Trento was a district engineer. In this role, he was responsible, among other things, for the construction management for the construction of the train station in Bad Kissingen , the Schweinfurt – Meiningen railway line and the Bavarian train station in Meiningen .

Later he was chief engineer of the royal transport authorities (operations department) in Munich and was promoted to the general directorate in 1889. He left this position in 1892 and retired.

Trient married Theresia Hartmann (born August 26, 1831 in Nuremberg; † September 6, 1888 in Munich).
