Amelia Piccinini (born January 17, 1917 in Turin , † April 3, 1979 ) was an Italian athlete .

At the European Athletics Championships in Oslo in 1946 , Piccinini won the bronze medal in the shot put and took fourth place in the long jump . She celebrated her greatest international success at the 1948 Olympic Games in London, when she won the silver medal in the shot put behind Micheline Ostermeyer from France and Ine Schäffer from Austria . At the European Athletics Championships in Brussels in 1950 , she was seventh.
