Amloh ( Panjabi ਅਮਲੋਹ ) is a city in the Indian state of Punjab .

Amloh is located in the Fatehgarh Sahib district . The city is located 8 km southwest of the city of Mandi Gobindgarh , through which the national highway NH 1 runs.

Amloh received city rights in 1949 (as the Town Committee ). The city of Amloh today has the status of a Municipal Council and is divided into 13 wards . In the 2011 census, the population of Amloh was 14,696. 10 years earlier the population was 12,689.

In Amloh there is a fort that was built by Raja Hira Singh of Nabha as the administrative seat of a Nizamat (district).
