Amphion (Orchomenos)
Amphion ( Greek Ἀμφίων ) is the son of Iasios in Greek mythology , probably with Persephone , the daughter of Minyas . He was the father of, among other things, Chloris , the youngest daughter who was married to Neleus , and Phylomache , who is named as one of the wives of the Neleus brother Pelias . Amphion was king in Orchomenos in Boeoti .
His separation from Amphion , son of Zeus and husband of Niobe , is not always easy, the two were often mixed up in antiquity, which was equally true of their descendants.
