Amra Silajdžić

Amra Silajdžić (born October 1, 1984 in Sarajevo , SFR Yugoslavia ) works full-time as a model, but is often seen as an actress.

Life

Silajdžić's modeling career began in 2000 when she was just 15. She was crowned Metropolitan Top Model and won the Press Price , an international competition in China. Several photographers discovered it and so it became more and more popular outside of Bosnia. In 2010 she decided to move to Los Angeles , whereupon she was booked there for commercials, TV shows and also small film and series roles.

In 2011 she became the first ambassador for the Bosana Foundation , a non-profit organization that aims to improve livelihoods and access to education for the marginalized population of Bosnia and Herzegovina .

Silajdžić is under contract with Elite Model Management . In addition to her Bosnian mother tongue, she also speaks English and French.

She was married to Vladimir Vicentijevic from 2001 to 2007 and has a daughter from this marriage. She currently has a relationship with Edin Džeko, with whom she has also had a daughter since February 2016.
