Amrita Acharia
Amrita Acharia ( Nepali : अमृता आचार्य, born December 24, 1990 in Kathmandu ) is a Nepalese - Ukrainian actress .
life and career
Amrita Acharia was born in Kathmandu, Nepal. She is the child of a Nepalese and a Ukrainian. She moved to England with her family at the age of six . Today a large part of her family lives in Norway , where her father teaches as a gynecology professor at Tromsø University . After graduating from school in Norway, she went to England to turn to acting. Acharia is fluent in English , Nepali , Ukrainian , Russian and Norwegian .
She gained fame primarily through the impersonation of the Dothraki girl Irri in the hit series Game of Thrones , which she played from 2011 to 2012. In addition to other appearances in British television series, she has recently appeared more frequently in Norwegian productions.
