The Körbecke office can be verified for the first time in 1843. It existed until its dissolution in 1969. The newly created community Möhnesee is largely identical in terms of area to the office of Körbecke.

history

The forerunner of the later office of Körbecke was in the time of the Duchy of Westphalia the court of Körbecke, which was part of the office of Belecke since 1807 . In Prussian times the office of Körbecke can be proven from 1843 at the latest. It consisted of the communities Berlingsen , Brüllingsen , Büecke , Delecke , Echtrop , Ellingsen , Günne , Hewingsen , Körbecke , Stockum (Möhnesee) , Theiningsen , Völlinghausen (Möhnesee) , Wamel , Westrich and Wippringsen . Until 1890, the parish of Bremen also belonged to it, until this was separated as a separate Bremen office .

In 1961 the office had Körbecke with a size of 123.35 square kilometers 6338 inhabitants.

In 1969 the office belonging to the Soest district was dissolved and was completely absorbed by the newly founded Möhnesee community.
